Judge dismisses Owners appeal of acv status
The Black Horse is registered as an Asset of Community Value (ACV), which helps to protect the pub from things such as redevelopment and being used as a private residence. The Black Horse Community Group has been very fortunate to receive one of the last £2,500 Bursaries available under the More than a Pub funding programme which is funded by The Power to Change Trust. Community offer submitted
We recently met the current owners and made an offer to purchase the freehold of The Black Horse. Our offer was in line with the report prepared for us by a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors who specialises in the valuation of public houses. We await a response.
