Plunkett Foundation
www.plunkett.co.uk Helps communities to take control of their challenges and overcome them together. Plunkett supports people, predominantly in rural areas, to set up and run life-changing community co-operatives; enterprises that are owned and run democratically by large numbers of people in their community. They help people to tackle a range of issues, from isolation and loneliness to poverty, and come in many forms including shops, cafes, pubs and land-based initiatives, and everything in between.

A charitable trust who supported local community pubs by funding the More than a Pub programme.
More Than a Pub
A Community Pub Business Support programme that ran until 2020 and provided us with a £2,500 bursary.
Our Council
The Parish Council, Borough Council, Ward Councillor (Ronan Browne) and our MP (Alicia Kearns) have been very supportitive in helping us to purchase the pub. MBC provided a community grant of £3,000 in 2022 to cover the cost of achieving the Share issue Standard Mark and printing the Share Issue Standard Mark and printing the Share issue documentation.
