What a year….Godolphin Arabian the founding stallion of all modern thoroughbreds passed on. Oh yes and The Black horse started serving ale. 268 years later and planning permission is sought to convert this asset of community value into flats. We say “Neigh” #pubnotflats

Current pub owners indicated they were investigating leases but no sign of adverts for a suitable tenant, who could be in situ by end of lockdown.
Community offer submitted
We recently met the current owners and made an offer to purchase the freehold of The Black Horse. Our offer was in line with the report prepared for us by a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors who specialises in the valuation of public houses. We await a response.
